On 14 July 2013 the ''@MrsStephenFry'' Twitter statistics were:〔(Mrs Stephen Fry Twitter Stats - Twitter Counter )〕〔(Twitter )〕 * 152,194 – Followers * 3,951 – Following * 11,454 – Tweets On 25 May 2012, the ''@MrsStephenFry'' Twitter account was suspected of being hacked 〔(Twitter / mynameisjanah: @MrsStephenFry have you been )〕〔(Twitter / javashri: I think @MrsStephenFry's account )〕 after a message was sent from the account offering iPads with a link to a website that one Twitter follower claimed was hosting malware.〔(Twitter / MilesKjeller: @MrsStephenFry Site's a virus )〕 As a result, a new account appeared on 26 May 2012 for ''@emergencymrsfry'' stating in a series of tweets: ''"Hello, dears. I therefore have no means to access my account or change its password. I've contacted Twitter . . support but they say there is nothing they can do. I don't know what else to do other than apologise and hope that somebody can help. x . .
